DISCOVER ALSACE ON A BARGE AND HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE
Discover the wetlands of the Alsace region by barge or by horse-drawn carriage - an exciting experience! Punt down the river with the traditional fishing barges of the "Bateliers", gliding through beautiful natural landscapes and forests, and then explore the environment in a romantic horse-drawn carriage. During your journey, you might be lucky enough to spot cormorants, turtles, herons, grebes and more. Rare plants and trees can also be seen on the riverbanks - depending on the season and flowering time. The journey ends in a village near the waterway: the perfect setting for a short organ concert or starting point for a discovery walk.
Sightseeing and programs:
- Meet "Bateliers" (fishing barge driver) on the Alsatian Ried
- Rent fishing barges followed by a carriage ride (depending on the number of participants)
- Arrive at an Alsatian village and enjoy a short organ concert
- Can be combined with a refreshment break or gourmet stop
