Le Jardin - a taste of Alsace
Just at the front entrance to the Château de Pourtalès is a quaint half-timbered building, charming in its typical Alsatian architecture. Harkening back to the romantic days when horses and carriages made their way to and
from the Château bearing their distinguished guests, the building has served as home to guards and gardeners during its history.
Today it has found new purpose as the Jardin du Pourtalès Restaurant, open daily and offering a fine selection of Alsatian specialties and wines. Not to be missed, the restaurant's warm, inviting ambience seats about 100 people for lunch and dinner.
The Jardin du Pourtalès also enjoys a shady, tranquil terrace for drinks or dining when weather permits.
